Meduna Family Farms
The Meduna Family has been farming in eastern Nebraska for five generations. The five of us brothers are excited to welcome you to our waterfowl haven; an 80 acre plot of corn and soybean row crops featuring a flooded wetland at the center.
Every year the area floods, attracting all sorts of waterfowl to the field as they find food from the surrounding cropland. The land has been hunted for generations with years of proven success. With a 10-acre pool of flooded land, Canadian and Snow Geese are constantly stopping by, along with many ducks and other waterfowl species. The property does not have any trees or blinds to provide shelter but you are welcome to bring and set up your own. Dogs are allowed on the farm.
Access to the wet area is easy off of the gravel road on the South side of the property. You can walk out to anywhere you want to be stationed along the water, but there is no drive-up or ATV access. We ask that you avoid going on the acreage on the East end of the property.
We are unable to provide lodging at this time, however the town of Wahoo is close by and offers a hotel. Fremont is just 20 minutes away with plenty of lodging and dining options as well. We have no minimum or maximum number of days when it comes to booking.
Due to the drought, we are unfortunately not offering any packages at this time.
