The white oak timber frame accents and southern exposure make for an elevated feel. At 300 feet above the surrounding countryside, the breezes are refreshing.

A 13-foot and 16-foot canvas tent is available. Inquire with the landowner for more details. There are open fields and forests in which to camp. Level spots can be found near the pond, on the back pasture with the Grand View, and beside the mountain stream called Chalk Mine Run.

I began hunting with may father back when I had to take three steps to every one of his and at times he had to lift me onto his shoulders to carry me to the truck. He's a an old man now, 81 years, a marine and Vietnam Veteran. He tought me how to consider the wind, how to track a wounded deer and the proper way to field dress it. I love the beauty of nature and the balance I see eveywhere. I thank God for a world liek the one we have. I'm happy to share my little piece of it with poeple who feel the same. I have a lovely wife and six children.
