MPJ Farms is excited to offer a DIY Turkey hunting experience for the upcoming Fall and Spring Season. If exploring beautiful land while hunting an abundance of large birds sounds fun to you, then this is the place to come!
We have an established ground blind set up in a high-traffic area for birds.
Turkey hunters will most likely encounter Easterns in this part of Missouri; although, there is no guarantee what subspecies you may find as populations fluctuate year to year.
Firearms & Archery permitted.
Limit one bird per hunter.
MPJ Farms is a beautiful and quiet haven owned and operated by the Staus family. This 180-acre Missouri property located in the small town of Cole Camp is only about 25 minutes from Sedalia. Our landscape offers corn, beans, and wooded creeksides making it an amazing place to call home for Turkey, Deer, and a multitude of different fish.
On the land stands a cabin for lodging, equipped with a grill, close enough to the ponds for a convenient break or quick walk after a boatload of fishing. We also permit campfires that serve well for great stories and conversation from the day's hunt.
If you decide to stay off-site there are places to lodge in Cole Camp, or you could journey a bit farther to Sedalia and enjoy all the city has to offer.
