Our 600 acres boast several different terrains. We have open pastures, woods, bottom land, and clear cuts, plus our 90-acre private and stocked lake. The land supports deer, hogs, and turkey, as well as migratory birds, such as duck and geese; in fact, the Game and Fish Commission trapped and banded wood ducks here for several years.

There is a cabin built in the middle of the lake that is fully-furnished and sleeps 6, complete with a fully-equipped kitchen. After a fun day on the water, come back to a private balcony overlooking the secluded lake! Let's not forget the inground pool that’s built in the lake. It's truly a unique feature you won't find anywhere else. It's quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. We have 3 RV hookups located around our clubhouse, plus an unlimited number of primitive camping spots. 

The bass fishing is some of the best in the state. Our current guest fishermen include but are not limited to several Bass Pro Anglers, including Steven Browning. Wired to Fish films episodes from their podcast here. I once asked what drew them to our lake, and they said, "You can come here and catch some fish! It doesn't take us days to get our content filmed.” The lake is fresh water and has creeks flowing in and out year-round, giving ideal conditions for raising YOUR trophy catch. This lake is stocked with MONSTER catfish from the Arkansas and Mississippi Rivers, some weighing in close to 100 lbs. Our climate here at Newton’s Lake is also ideal for raising the covenanted Florida Strained Bass, which has also been stocked and managed in the lake for 30 years. This lake is no ordinary lake due to it being in the Newton family for 3 generations, with family growing up fishing, swimming, and noodling the lake, making many memories that have lasted a lifetime.
