Fish the Pit River! Photograph wildlife or the sunrise over Fox Mountain! Kids are Free!
The ranch covers 70 acres of pasture and river bottom terrain, with direct frontage to the Pit River. Private bank access totals out to about 0.6 miles.
Here in Northern California's Modoc County, we are situated near multiple big swathes of National Forest, in addition to some nearby mountain ranges. Down in the valley, conditions are more arid; however, with the river, we see a lot of consistent wildlife activity. We are also just across the highway from a large reservoir, so plenty of water to go around.
We run a 1st-generation working livestock operation out of Lookout, California. We are focused on raising animals in a transparent way, specifically Belted Galloways, or Belties, along with pork and poultry.
Exact acreage available for this package fluctuates throughout the year based on current location of livestock, contact us for exact boundaires before arrival.
