Was a great property, lots of good access and places to set up and glass. The bad as comes with hunting. The elk were all about two properties to the north. Bunched up in a herd of about 200. Was a good hunt animals had just migrated off. Should have been there about a week earlier and would have been in the elk. No fault to the property or land owner. Was a good hunt

Cool area. Parking areas are well marked. Was not successful but elk sign everywhere. Had a great time. Will plan on returning.
Reviewed by Guest on November 2022 We had a great time on Michael’s 390 property. We ended up getting an elk the first day we were out. Michael was great to work with and very helpful. I would definitely come back. We appreciate Michael letting us have permission for the day.
Reviewed by Guest on November 2022We had a great day out on the farm. It's a beautiful property so close to where we live in Bozeman. It's very unsuspecting as a lot of the property is right off the highway but you can't see into it from the road. I've driven by this property hundreds of times over the years and never thought much of it from an elk perspective. But soon as you hike up the ridge it opens up into a bunch of wheatfields surrounded by craggy sagebrush-covered hills that provide the perfect habitat for muleys and elk. We were successful in taking a couple cows off the farm pretty much first thing in the morning. We also watched a herd of a few hundred elk that were bedded just off the edge of the property but it was easy to see that they often feed into Michael's place. Michael is super responsive and very helpful. I'll be back many more times over the coming years, thanks, Michael!
