We are excited to offer Dove Hunts in the South Zone. Our property has abundant native sunflower and croton.
Our ranch is located in the South Zone - opening on Sept. 14 and closes Oct. 26, 2025.
We do not guarantee harvest or success rates. Doves are migratory and the season can be sporadic. We will do our best to notify you if we recommend cancellation due to the lack of activity.
Parker Creek Ranch lies at the transition zone from the Texas Hill Country to the South Texas brush country. The ranch has been in our family since 1846. We manage it with regenerative grazing practices - no chemicals or synthetic fertilizers have been used in over 15 years.
We are located in the transition zone from the Texas Hill Country to the Tamaulipan Thornscrub or “brush country.” We have an amazing diversity of wildlife. We feel privileged to call this land "home" and hope to share it with you.

Food Plots, Agriculture, and Natural Forage
We are located at the transition zone from Texas Hill Country to the Tamaulipan Thornscrub or “brush country." This region of Texas is known for shorter trees and numerous shrubs, most of which contain thorns. Many of those shrubs and forbs are nutritious for deer. We plant food plots during the fall and winter as well. Also, deer blinds are matched with a corn feeder.
Ponds
We have several ponds and a wet weather creek.

Bio
Born and raised on the same ranch where I reside with my family today. I developed a deep love and appreciation for the outdoors. I enjoy fly fishing with a kayak or wading a small creek. Being just a few hours from the Texas coast I also enjoy chasing Redfish, trout and drum in the bays. My favorite time is a good Fall deer hunt. The harvest ends with turning all of this amazing meat into sausages, Biltong and other foods to nourish my family.
