400 acres

Parker Creek Ranch lies at the transition zone from the Texas Hill Country to the South Texas brush country. The ranch has been in our family since 1846. We manage it with regenerative and organic grazing practices - no chemicals or synthetic fertilizers have been used in over 14 years. We are located in the transition zone from the Texas Hill Country to the Tamaulipan Thornscrub or “brush country.” We have an amazing diversity of wildlife including White-tailed deer, Rio Grande turkey, Bobwhite quail, Mourning doves, feral pigs and much more. We feel privileged to call this land "home" and hope to share it with you.

The cold weather has finally set in. We are still unusually dry and forage for the wildlife is limited. With that we are seeing a lot of activity at our corn feeders. The wild hogs are very active. Most of the activity is limited to nocturnal, but we are seeing them come to the feeders early in the morning and late evening. A lot of rooting activity out in the pastures this time of the year. Looking forward to hosting some hog hunts over the coming month. We have plenty of hogs available so if you're looking for an affordable hog hunt then look no further! We have seen some really nice young white-tailed bucks on the cameras. These have great potential for the coming year or two. Got a glimpse of a really nice mature 8 point. We limited our deer harvest this year to allow the population to grow. Will offer some meat hunts this next season. A few really nice Rio toms showed up on the camera in late December. We are sold out of turkey hunts at the moment. There are a few rafters around the area and we take care not to harvest more than a few toms each year.
