Just minutes from Platte, South Dakota, Pheasant Farms LLC offers 280 acres of well-managed upland habitat that has consistently produced quality hunts and lifelong memories for over five decades. The ground is just 2.5 miles outside of town and sits directly across the road from the Bovey Lake Game Production Area, a public hotspot that sees decent pressure, often pushing pheasants and other game birds right into the safety of our private tract. 

Tall shelterbelts run along field edges, providing essential roosting and loafing cover, while sloughy low spots give birds a place to hide and hunker down. Two sizable ponds on the property not only bring in migrating ducks but also create a water source that keeps wildlife close and moving throughout the acreage. The mix of edge habitat, open lanes, and thick cover provides ample opportunity for pheasant hunters.

In addition to pheasant hunting, we will also be offering a waterfowl hunt with the potential to do a combo hunt for both pheasant and waterfowl.
