Doe Only Hunt W/ Lodgingat Platte River Toms
This package is for Does only. It offers an opportunity to shoot a late season doe to get some meat for the freezer.
A NOTE ON BOOKINGS: Guests must book for the total number of guests in your group visiting the property, not just the person pulling the trigger. No discounts for non-hunting guests.
This property has it all! Although being a low-lying river bottom property, it uniquely has several significant elevation changes, creating draws, hills and minor ridges. There is an exceptional amount of cottonwood, elm, ash, olive and cedar timber, shrubs, brush as well as grassy sloughs that contribute to a very diverse and thick wildlife haven.
This property has an abundance of water sources, even during the driest of years. The Platte River borders the north end of the property. Several channels off of the Platte snake through the farm. There is a pond at the far south end of the farm by the largest food plot field.
There are 6 acres of food plots along the southern aspect of the property, that currently have last fall planted perennial greens, clovers that will come up with increased temps. There is a very diverse river bottom ecosystem that contributes to an abundance of natural forage. There are a variety of ag fields within quarter to half mile surrounding the property.
Feeders:
1- 200lb gravity feeder along south large food plot near pond.
1-100 lb gravity feeder center of property.
1-200lb gravity feeder at northernmost river trail next to Platte river.
