Prairie Legends Outfitters is a family-owned business. Our business was brought together by two brothers with deep roots in the farming industry that run over 10,000 acres and enjoy to spend their free time here in the prairies that reside on their land. Being we’re located in the pheasant hunting capital of the world, we wanted to give others the chance to experience the best pheasant hunting that South Dakota has to offer. Our story is one of passion, dedication, and a deep connection to the ground that we live on.

Born and raised in Burke, SD. Tarell has hunted and guided for as long as he can remember. He has also ran a successful catering business alongside his guiding for pheasants over the past 7 years that specializes in delicious home-cooked meals. He strives to give every hunter an unforgettable, fun experience day in and day out while they are hunting with him. His son Beckem loves hunting and will often times be along for the fun to help in the fields or hanging out around the lodge!
