Prairie Legends Outfitters is the perfect place for a pheasant hunting experience of a lifetime! Embark on a truly legendary South Dakota pheasant hunting experience on our 10,000-acre ranch in pursuit of the legends of the prairie here in South Dakota. Enjoy an all-inclusive stay when you hunt with us where lodging, transportation between fields, professional guides, well-trained dogs, bird processing, delicious home-cooked meals and an unforgettable experience are all included.

What to Expect:

Guests are expected to arrive the evening before their first day of hunting, anytime after 4PM.

NIGHT ONE - Arrival Day

As guests arrive, they are welcomed by snacks and drinks at your respective lodge by our team that can show them around if needed. Pre-hunt rituals of celebrating & getting together follows. Dinner will not be provided this first night.

DAY ONE - The Hunt

The first day begins with a delicious breakfast, shooting clay pigeons to warm up the guns and a brief safety talk to assure everyone enjoys a fun and safe day in the field

Hunters then board a bus that will transport them to their first fields.

Lunch and snacks are served in the field. More hunting follows!

Once the hunt is concluded, your group heads back to your respective lodge via our bus to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks and a delicious dinner right off the smoker.

DAYS FOLLOWING

Enjoy the rest of your days with us hunting the legends of South Dakota’s prairies, delicious meals & making unforgettable memories with you and your group. 

FINAL MORNING - Departure Day

Hunters will be expected to be depart by 11AM. No Breakfast will be provided on the morning of your departure day.

Package includes:

Professional guided hunts each day, well trained dogs, lodging at Prairie Legends, all meals, daily maid service, snacks in the field, full-course home cooked dinners, hors d'oeuvres and drinks after each day's hunt, unlimited sporting clays, transportation to and from fields, guest kennel facilities, bird processing.

Lodging is included in our main cabin, which sleeps 14 people comfortably. Enjoy an incredible view with a side of Hors d'oeuvres & drinks after each day's hunt. This main cabin comes equipped with a kitchen, spacious living room, 14 comfortable beds, a game area and parking.

Pricing is a per-person basis for Small Groups, Large Groups and Corporate Retreats.

For those that pheasant hunting just isn't for them, but want still be a part of the group, Non-Shooting Guests are $350/day.
