This 176-acre field is commercially farmed and then planted in winter wheat or rye after harvest. This is our more European-style field if that is what you are into. This is also an easier walk/hunt for those of us who aren't spring chickens anymore. This doesn't mean that this field is any less exciting. I love watching my dog range out 300 yards and being able to watch her work the whole field and then lock up on point. This field can also be hunted in a side-by-side for anyone who has a legitimate need for that form of transportation to get around. During the first few months of the season, this field is scattered with soybeans and corn that were left after the harvest and you will find a plethora of whitetail and birds in this field. We also have 1-acre pond on-site as well.
