We are just northeast of Topeka in Shawnee County, so Turkey hunters will most likely see Easterns on the property.
We have about 260 acres just a few miles northwest of Topeka. Our acreage is located right on the Soldier Creek, which features a nice array of dense timber and cover for turkeys. Our family has two plots of ag ground right in this low ground near the creek. In addition to our habitat on the ranch, all of our neighbors are mostly farmland, so turkey movement is high up and down the creek.
