Located in the Nebraska Sandhills near Springview, Rockin J Farms offers just under 2,000 acres of varied terrain that attracts all kinds of wildlife. Rolling sandhills transition into timbered draws and dry creek bottoms, while multiple irrigated pivots are growing yellow corn and hay. Tree rows and natural cover provide shelter.

Whitetail deer are the mainstay here, moving through the creek bottoms and timber lines to feed in the irrigated fields. Mule deer make the occasional appearance, and elk—while not abundant—are spotted passing through. Turkeys thrive along the wooded edges, and upland hunters will find opportunities for pheasants and prairie grouse in the open grasslands and crop perimeters. The pivots draw geese when conditions are right, and coyotes are always lurking for hunters looking to test their calling skills.

Hunters are welcome to bring a tent or camper, with one of our cattle yards available as a setup spot. Just keep in mind there are no hookups. We are also located only about 30 miles from Valentine.
