We have ample numbers of geese and ducks on seemingly every pond on the property, with all kinds of other waterfowl and prairie/grasslands species. We are within 25 miles of the Chase Lake National Wildlife Refuge.

Sauby Ranch has rolling grasslands with pothole sloughs all throughout the property. I saw a plethora of geese, mallards, gadwall, widgeon, redhead, pintail, and other diver ducks.
