During the migration season, the ranch is a stopping point for geese, cranes, swans, and other migratory birds. A professional birder with the US Fish & Wildlife once said he saw more birds here than any other property he has ever been on.
Camping is permitted on the property.
The price is $250 per sportsman per day.
Duck/Coot:
The property is located in High Plains Zone 2 for Duck and Coot.
The daily bag limit is 6 ducks (Tier I) and 3 ducks (Tier II).
Season: 10/7/23 - 12/19/23, 1/10/24 - 1/31/24
Teal:
The property is located in the High Plains Unit for Teal.
The daily bag limit during open season is 6 birds.
Season: 9/2/23 - 9/10/23
Dark Goose:
The property is located in the Dark Goose Early Zone (North Central Unit).
The daily bag limit is 5 geese.
Season: 10/7/23 - 1/19/24
White-fronted Goose:
The entire state is open for the taking of white-fronted geese.
The daily bag limit is two geese.
Season: 10/7/23 - 12/17/23, 1/25/24 - 2/9/24
Light Goose:
The property is located in the West Zone for Light Goose.
The daily bag limit is 50 geese. There is no limit during the Conservation Order.
Statewide Season: 10/7/23 - 1/3/24; 1/25/24 - 2/9/24
Conservation Order: East: 2/10/24 - 4/5/24
