Our ponds and ag fields make for excellent waterfowl hunting. Multiple locations would be good for sportsmen to bring a blind and set up. Bird dogs and decoys are permitted as well.
Non-residents must obtain either a waterfowl hunting license 00Y (3-Day Season) or 00B (10-Day/Season-Long) to hunt here at the farm, in addition to any other permits/stamps required by the state of South Dakota.
--Ducks:
The farm is located north of US Hwy 212 in the Low Plains - North Zone.
Season Dates: 9/23/23 - 12/5/23
--Canada Geese:
The farm is located in Unit 1.
Season Dates: 9/1/23 - 12/16/23
The daily limit is 8 Canada Geese.
--White-fronted Geese:
Season Dates: 9/30/23 - 12/12/23
Permits are valid statewide.
The daily limit is three white-fronted geese.
--Light Goose:
Season Dates: 9/30/23 - 1/12/24
Permits are valid statewide.
The daily limit is 50 light geese.
