SDakota 320
Our SDakota 320 property features a combination of row crop and grasslands with ponds scattered intermittently throughout the farm. The composition of habitat makes for excellent waterfowl hunting, plus the farm's prairie grass has been known to hold pheasants. With 320 acres, there's a good amount of ground you can cover.
We will be offering hunts for both pheasant and waterfowl, with a discounted option for a combo hunt. Whitetail hunts will also be available. Take a look at our packages below and please inquire with any questions! I am the farm manager for the property, so I have a good gauge on wildlife populations and movements.
The farm is located in northern Deuel County, about 20 miles northeast of Watertown and Interstate 29. Local lodging options are available in Watertown, plus I-29 provides convenient access for sportsmen making the trip from Fargo to the North and Sioux Falls to the South.

This is a unique property. While walking the waterways and cattails I jumped a nice 4x4 whitetail and a couple pheasants. There is deer sign all over the property and the ponds look like a great place to set up for waterfowl.

SDakota 320 looks exactly as depicted and described. Although we did not shoot any pheasants, I think the potential is there: We only hunted for an hour mid-day (it was opening day so we focused on untouched public land. There was standing corn to the north and south so we have no doubt that's where the birds were at noon. I also have no doubt the grassy areas on the west and Sw of the property would hold birds in the morning and again during the golden hour one they left the corn, and that all the cattails surrounding the various pons would provide excellent winter habitat. Would definately return for some later season hunting. Thanks Eric!
Reviewed by Guest on October 2024 We hunted for pheasants. It is a reasonably easy property to hunt with defined cover. We hit it on a rough, warmish day with 40 mph winds. We did kill a cock in a slough but the winds really picked up and we called it for the morning. I would go back, it could be an all day hunt for a couple hunters.
