Shady Lane is hosted by Mathes Farms and located in Southeastern Kansas consisting of 450 huntable acres. It stands just one mile from the Kansas and Oklahoma border. The farm is a first-generation family operation.

This property has had very consistent, trail cam photos of trophy deer throughout the last year. It also supports a very nice population of wild turkeys. Great balance of trees and ag on this property. Ponds on this property also offer opportunities for ducks and geese. Mostly flat, high water table ground here.

5.0Jennifer was very helpful with pre-trip planning and 'e-scouting' the property prior to arriving. Came home with a nice whitetail buck. Diverse mix of property with different parcels holding different types of game.

Jennifer was great and communicated everything we needed. For those reading this for turkey season, you will want to note that the property is divided among 4 plots and only a few acres have timber, so we found that turkey were typically on neighboring land.

I had an amazing time.The Mathes family were great and very helpful.Though I did not harvest a turkey we could hear birds out there Great fishing ponds and camp side.Will be back again.
