Sorenson Farm
The Sorenson Farm is a family farming operation located on the great plains of Western North Dakota. Our family has been farming here in McKenzie County since 1959. I'm proud to be representing the second generation of the family on the farm, stewarding our treasured piece of North Dakota.
We own 640 acres just over 20 miles outside of Watford City. This is gorgeous country, with rolling grasslands, ag fields, and tall buttes in the distance. The property has a couple thick shelter belts as well, in addition to a spring-fed and wooded draw.
This open habitat and its food sources attracts mule deer, the occasional whitetail, and upland bird as well.
We have a location for dry camping and RV setups for guest looking to stay overnight. We do require a minimum of 4-days for big game bookings and 3-day minimum for upland bird bookings.

This property would be excellent for upland birds with all the prairie grass and shelterbelts. During my visit I saw both sharpies. I also noticed deer sign as well. Perry told me that he often sees mature muley bucks work their way down from the buttes in his pasture. In addition, he mentioned that several antelope have been successfully harvested in past years.
