Because we need to work with the terrain, the wind, and trees, we have 1 tree stand available, but highly discourage using it. The 2 ground blinds we have limit scent and are positioned in the most ideal spots for a successful hunt. The strategy is to keep a small footprint and low profile to minimize human impact on wildlife activity.

Ground Blinds (2)

We have two ground blinds that are setup and ready to be used. The one blind is a Shadow Hunter, and is especially positioned and setup for crossbow hunters. The second blind is a Maverick hunting blind with windows positioned all around the blind. We provide a ScentLok Radial Nano ozone generator to run during your hunt to help further minimize any human scent.

Game Cameras (2)

We use cameras with live feed video or still image capture, so we have access to plot activity 24/7.

Game Feeders (1)

We have strategically positioned a game feeder between the ground blinds. The feeder will usually have whole corn with molasses mixed in, creating a sweet, more desirable option for the deer. We also keep hundreds of pounds of whole or ear corn on the ground, inside the sorghum screen. The deer need to enter the plot to get to the corn. They use the opening points we created when we designed the plot layout pre-planting.

Food: Food Plots and Natural Forage

The food plot is the location of the hunting zones. The plot is a 50-75 yd wide strip of field between two areas of woods. The plot consists of red clover, alfalfa, winter peas, and sugar beats. This year, we have a sorghum screen strategically placed to create funnel points to create easy shots from two hunting blinds. A new plot is also being established with rye, turnips, winter wheat, and clover. The new plot is not designed to hunt over this year, but is being used to provide additional forage for the deer, simply due to the sheer number of deer that come through the property on a regular basis. ...

Water: Ponds and Springs

There is a highwall on the property. Below the highwall is a pond. Usually this water is not as good, because it becomes stagnant. Because of this, we dug a wildlife pond nearly 2 years ago that is spring fed. It is just below the food plot area. The deer and wildlife use it alot for fresh water to drink....

Shelter: Woods, Draws, Shelter Belt, Grasslands, Brush, and Hills

Due to the size of this property, we have very strategically created access points to the hunting zone so as not to disturb the deer bedded on the property. Most of the neighboring property is a dense wooded "holding area". The success of our setup has been remarkable. On our property, there are dense areas, areas that provide cover and protection, there is a protected "bench" or area along the side of a hill that the deer like to bed on. ...
