Welcome to Suggs Family Farm! Turkey Hunting One Hour from Raleigh!
Our family is opening 625 acres of hunting ground in Edgecombe County. We are a 2nd-generation livestock and row crop operation with rolling pasture, mature woods, food plots, and crop fields. The habitat blends wooded areas, open hayfields, and roughly 70 acres of rotating crops, including cotton, corn, peanuts, and soybeans. The farm also has one pond, which we call "The Sandpit," 3 canals, swamps, and over a mile of the Fishing Creek.
This historically has been a solid spot for turkey hunting in the Spring!
ATV/UTV access is allowed for hunting purposes.
While no formal lodging is offered, hunters are welcome to bring tents, campers, or RVs, with electric hookup available on gravel or grassy surfaces. For those looking to unwind between hunts, fishing is permitted in Fishing Creek and The Sandpit, adding to the outdoor experience.
