Welcome to Summerfield Farm and Grayson County in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwestern Virginia! Our farm is a Virginia Century Farm which has been continuously operated by our family since 1800. 

We strive to be a sustainable operation: economically, environmentally, and community. We operate a grass fed & finished cow/calf and sheep/lamb operation. We care for about 400 head of sheep nearly 350 head of beef cattle raised here on the farm. We have created an extensive paddock system to better manage our forage. Additionally, we partnered with the USDA and state agencies to create repairian borders which has improved our creeks and streams and enhanced our wildlife habitat. We strive to take care of the land as the land will take care of us.

We have roughly 435 acres avaialbe for hunting. Our mountain land is comprised of pastures and decidious forests which makes ideal conditions for white tail deer and wild turkey. The elevation of the farm is around 2600 feet.
