At least six prairie dog towns are spread across different pastures on Tecker Ranch, each offering clear sightlines and active populations. These areas provide consistent shooting opportunities throughout the day.

Be aware of Rattlesnakes, especially around the p-dog towns.

We tell people when they are driving up a hill to NEVER assume there is another side! In the bottom of the canyons and meadows, NEVER assume they are flat grassy meadows.

Often there are washouts and deep cattle trails hidden by the grass. The North pastures are very sandy and erode quickly so off-roading is limited to only what is needed to get to the hunting areas.

Located just north of the Nebraska-Kansas border and a short drive from the Colorado state line, Tecker Ranch spans 8,250 acres in the heart of Dundy County. This fifth-generation working ranch sits along the Republican River with Rock Creek running through its northern pastures, offering a mix of river bottom, coulees, and wide-open pasture that supports both livestock and abundant wildlife. The Uppa Crik Tap Room also offers two water and electric RV hookups, and other camping areas can be arranged upon request. Photography, quiet evenings, and a genuine connection to the land await anyone who steps onto this historic property.
