Coyotes travel the coulees, creekbeds, and river bottom throughout the year. Early mornings and dusk are especially productive times to call, as coyotes move between cover and open ground. The land’s natural features provide solid vantage points and allow for flexible setups depending on wind and light conditions. Good optics are recommended!
Be aware of Rattlesnakes.
WE ONLY OFFER COYOTE AND P-DOG HUNTS IN THE SUMMER, LATE WINTER, AND EARLY SPRING. THE RANCH IS LEASED FOR ALL OTHER HUNTING.
Note:
Be cautious when crossing Highway 34 to get our southern acreage.
We tell people when they are driving up a hill to NEVER assume there is another side! In the bottom of the canyons and meadows, NEVER assume they are flat grassy meadows.
Often there are washouts and deep cattle trails hidden by the grass. The North pastures are very sandy and erode quickly so off-roading is limited to only what is needed to get to the hunting areas.
Located just north of the Nebraska-Kansas border and a short drive from the Colorado state line, Tecker Ranch spans 8,250 acres in the heart of Dundy County. This fifth-generation working ranch sits along the Republican River with Rock Creek running through its northern pastures, offering a mix of river bottom, coulees, and wide-open pasture that supports both livestock and abundant wildlife. The land is shaped by more than a century of stewardship, blending tradition with modern grazing and conservation practices.
The Uppa Crik Tap Room also offers two water and electric RV hookups, and other camping areas can be arranged upon request. Photography, quiet evenings, and a genuine connection to the land await anyone who steps onto this historic property.
There is cell service in some areas of the property and WIFI and landline access at Uppa Crik Tap Room.
