Coyotes travel the coulees, creekbeds, and river bottom throughout the year. Early mornings and dusk are especially productive times to call, as coyotes move between cover and open ground. The land’s natural features provide solid vantage points and allow for flexible setups depending on wind and light conditions. Good optics are recommended!

We tell people when they are driving up a hill to NEVER assume there is another side! In the bottom of the canyons and meadows, NEVER assume they are flat grassy meadows.

Often there are washouts and deep cattle trails hidden by the grass. The North pastures are very sandy and erode quickly so off-roading is limited to only what is needed to get to the hunting areas.

Located just north of the Nebraska-Kansas border and a short drive from the Colorado state line, Tecker Ranch spans 8,250 acres in the heart of Dundy County.
