The Triple L is home to a good population of whitetail deer. We have does year-round. Our habitat features good patches of tree cover with open fields. We have a small stretch of wetland with cattails that runs through the property. We have a ground blind available for sportsman use, with the potential for tree stands as well. Sportsmen can bring their own blinds or low-impact mobile stands (no tree/branch cutting).
Overall, this is a great option for bowhunters in the Missoula area looking for a local spot close to home to come sit for the day without having to drive too far.
Our unit typically has a late-season whitetail opportunity available until mid-January.
