We have a 40-acre parcel with direct access to 75,000 acres of Gallatin National Forest. On the parcel, we are excited to share our off-grid cabin that comfortably sleeps six, with propane and a generator for power. The cabin makes a great basecamp for hunters who want the jump on other folks who have to make the 50-minute drive from Bozeman.

Elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, and bear are all well-represented in this country, and the cabin's position on the edge of that much public land means hunters have access to a vast surrounding landscape from a private, comfortable base.

We are located in HD 393, which is a general unit for elk and deer.

While it's not uncommon to encounter wildlife on our private acreage, the majority of the hunting will take place on the National Forest land, meaning we will only be charging for lodging in the cabin, which is a flat $3,780 for a full week for up to 6 guests. We also have a 3-night weekend package for $1,620 for up to 6 guests. Both packages come out to about $90/guest/night. 

Access to the property requires meeting one of our family members at the gate, as the road crosses through neighboring land. Gates must be kept closed at all times to protect horses and cattle on adjacent properties.
