WM Farms
WM Farms is a farming operation located in the northeast corner of the great state of Kansas.
The property features about 740 acres of rolling, grassy hills with cropland and trees along creekbottom. We see a variety of wildlife daily. Note: Quail population was sparse a few years ago from overhunting, but they have recooperated and are quite prevalent again. That being said, to keep it from happening again we will be accepting only a few quail hunts this year. Coyotes we have plenty though so those hunt would be guaranteed accepted.
There is no structured lodging available on the property; however, Seneca (11 miles) and Sabetha (10 miles) both have hotels available.
We look forward to having you out this Fall!

This property is a gem. Another old-fashioned piece of ground that rolls with lots of trees and heavy property lines. Several quail coveys observed during sorghum harvest this fall. Ponds and trees should make it a dove destination as well. Turkey and deer tracks on road edges throughout this property.

5.0Simon was very helpful in communications before and during the day we spent there. We spent 4 hours running 4 dogs on the main farm, and found no quail or sign anywhere near the harvested corn, unharvested wheat and clover. We spent a couple hours on his walk ins, 1 on the northwest and 1 on the northeast which adjoins the private part of the property. On those we found 2 coveys, good cover and milo in the NE. Very nice walk in areas.
Reviewed by Guest on December 2023Simon was very accommodating. Had to change our plans and he was great to work with. His property was good for quail but unusual to have a portion of it in State WIHA which is free to access. Would question whether property is worth the costs with this in mind. But we enjoyed our hunt and quail were on his property both Walk-in and private. Temps were in the high 60s-70s and very dry so harvesting birds was very difficult. All in all glad we booked the trip

The cover was great for wildlife. It appears the landowner has managed some fields/areas for wildlife to thrive. For the two days I hunted I found 2coveys of quail. Though it was just me and one dog so a lot of area didn’t get thoroughly hunted or at all. I wish I’d had a 3rd day but my schedule didn’t allow. I also jumped a very nice buck bedded with a doe. I saw turkey sign as well. There is plenty of acreage to explore with a great diversity of habitat for a variety of game species.

Our expectations were met. We enjoyed the property, easy access. The wildlife was present. Owner allowed access prior for scouting, had quick responses to questions. Overall good experience

I like to farm. Beef, dairy, hogs, turkeys, crops, even chickens. If you can farm it in Kansas ive farmed it to some degree. The farm is over 100 years and has a lot of history. My grandfather Doug was a very hardworker and grew his farm to what i have today. Sadly all his hardworking caught up with him and he passed away this year. I hope to make him proud and continue the legacy. I like being outside and I like hunting when i can.
