Zaske Farms
Zaske Farms is a family farming operation in southwestern Minnesota.
We are excited to be offering access to about 120 acres of our land. We grow mostly corn, beans, alfalfa, and wheat, with about 85 acres of CRP ground. The Sacred Heart Creek also runs through a portion of our property. The creekbottom is made up of dense timber and is looking to be a great spot to hunt turkeys and whitetails. In addition to this timber, we have a couple elevated blinds and stands available for use.
An important note for Pheasant Hunters this Fall:
As of 8/9/23, Renville County FSA authorized emergency haying and grazing on CRP acres. As a cattle producer, I intend to cut it for hay, so the native grasses will be short. The birds will still be here, but the habitat will look different.
We are open to folks camping on the property.
We look forward to hosting you!

I had the chance to meet Bill before hunting. He is a very nice guy. The land was exactly as described. Although we did not shoot any roosters, we only hunted for an hour mid-day (not ideal) but did flush a mature hen and several young hens. The CRP is very healthy and much of it is definately thick enough to hold birds. There is quite a bit of public land in the area. I would imagine once all the crops are in and the near by public areas, have been heavily hunted, this 320 acre oasis with 80+ acres of solid crp will be an oasis for pheasants. Thanks Bill!
Reviewed by Guest on October 2024 I had a great time hunting Mr. Bill’s place. He was a great host and took the time to show me around the day I got there, and told me where he had been seeing birds. I was on birds both days, and was able to harvest a bird early the second morning. I would not hesitate to book this hunt again.
Reviewed by Guest on May 2024BZBill ZI really enjoyed having Mason as a guest on a turkey hunt. I spent about an hour with him the day before to show him around the property. He is very detailed in how he hunts. He was very courteous to us and really was a perfect guest. fHe is welcome to hunt here again. Thanks for coming! BZ

Bill is a great host and took the time to fully acquaint me with the property before I set up. There are a number of birds to chase here, and hunters will like the varied terrain and relatively easy access. I didn't get a bird this trip, but am hoping to get there again for another shot still this spring season.

I had a great experience with Anthony. He arranges hunts for veterans, a very nice thing in my opinion. There was a mix-up with the dates because of the season starting, but a couple quick messages and we pushed the date back a week. It worked out well. Dan is a veteran of Afghanistan. He came a couple days earlier and I showed him the property and another piece of land I own he was welcome if needed. I thanked him for his service. Dan was there on the rescheduled day and had success. He bagged a nice tom. I have been in touch with him since and told him he was welcome to come back anytime. Anthony, this is a great thing you are doing with your company. BZ
