Hunt Geese here in Coshocton County, along the Walhonding River.
Our acreage is made up of two parcels, a 39-acre and a 148-acre piece, about a half-mile apart. Both parcels are prime ag ground and provide excellent habitat with a mix of cropland food sources and river-bottom.
We are located in Ohio's South Zone for waterfowl.
For waterfowl enthusiasts, the Walhonding River draws migrating geese, creating excellent pass-shooting and decoying conditions. The river serves as a natural flyway, and hunters can expect steady action, especially during peak migration periods.
