The total make up of the 136 acres is about 100 acres in row crops that get cover cropped and sometimes grazed in the late fall/winter/early spring/with about 10 acres of grass, and 27 acres of timber. We also have two ponds and a small creek that makes up the eastern border of the property.

The property is well-suited for turkey hunting, with roosting and feeding areas throughout the timber and field edges. The habitat and mix of crops are solid for patterning gobblers in the Spring.

Turkeys are abundant on our farm. I recently came upon a nest of a dozen turkey eggs tucked next to a tree along one of our hiking paths.&nbsp;

The Meridian House has three levels and is a new, monitor barn-style construction featuring a wrap-around porch with mountain and valley views. The white oak timber frame accents and southern exposure make for an elevated feel. At 300 feet above the surrounding countryside, the breezes are refreshing.&nbsp;&nbsp;
