3-M Dairy
3-M Dairy is a 2nd-generation family farming operation in Northern Iowa. Our family owns about 145 acres of cropland and creekbottom habitat, perfect for Eastern turkeys and Midwest whitetails.
My father settled the property after moving from a California farm about 30 years ago, and since then I've grown to love the land after growing up here. I now have the privilege of raising my sons on the farm to hopefully continue our dairy operation in the future.
In addition to our cows, we grow corn and alfalfa, which is a major food source for the wildlife in our area. We routinely see whitetails and turkey on the farm and are pleased to be offering hunts for respectful sportsmen this season.
Here in Mitchell County, we are conveniently located within an hour's drive from both Interstate 35 (~50 miles) and Interstate 90 (~20 miles)with access to major cities and airports. I-35 runs north/south through the Twin Cities and Des Moines, while Interstate 90 runs east/west through Sioux Falls and Madison. Local lodging can be found pretty easily in nearby towns, and we also are open to having folks camp on the farm during hunts.

I saw deer tracks everywhere on the property. Chris's Dad Glen said you can see dozens of deer feeding in Alfalfa at night. In the spring, Chris and Glen mentioned that they routinely see turkeys in going back and forth from the fields to the creekbottom.
