Anderson Farms East
Council Grove, Kansas, United States
700 Acres
Welcome to the Flint Hills of Kansas!
Located in the heart of Morris County just north of Council Grove, Anderson Farms is a fourth-generation regenerative, no-till farm. Situated about 30 minutes south of Manhattan and interstate access to I-70, the farm is only about 2 hours from KC!
The farm represents Turkey Unit 3 and Deer Unit 14.
We grow corn, soybeans, and wheat, all while raising cattle, a few sheep, and honey bees. It's a great blend of agriculture and ranching here in Eastern Kansas.
The landscape is a mix of ag fields, rolling hills, creek bottoms, and timber. Most all our parcels can be easily accessed from the county roads.
Our East listing is made up of about 700 acres. The acreage most notably features over a mile of the Short Creek. The riparian habitat along the creekbottom is solid for turkey and deer hunters. Grassland pasture and cropland make up the rest of the habitat. We also have several geese and other migratory birds that come up from Council Grove Lake to feed in our ag fields as well as shelter in the water sources.
