Baalman Farm & Feedyard | Gove County
Our Gove County listing consists of about 1,100 acres sitting just south of Interstate 70. The property is made up of three parcels. One parcel has two pivots, one parcel is row crop, and the other is grassland and rangeland. Two of our parcels border land that is enrolled in the Kansas WIHA Program. We don't have lodging available at this time; however, camping and RVing is permitted. Lodging can also easily be found nearby in Oakley, KS, which is about a 10-mile drive on the interstate.
This should be an excellent location for pheasant hunters looking for good populations of birds. Quail numbers are moderate; however, they are more spaced out throughout the property. The farm is also an excellent location for deer hunters looking to hunt Kansas's Unit 2. Dove and pigeon hunters are also invited for a trip out to the farm.
Our History and Habitat
Baalman Farm & Feedyard is a 6th-generation ag and cattle operation proudly located in Northwestern Kansas, about 10-15 miles north of Interstate 70. We have a large amount of property that's been stewarded by our family since the late 1800s. Our acreage is comprised of a wide variety of habitat, from brushy draws and large plots of cropland to rolling grasslands and shelterbelts.
No lodging at this time. Camping and RVing is permitted.
