The Ballensky Ranch is a 7,000-acre working cattle ranch right off Interstate-94. Our vast acreage is a great location for all types of hunters! We have an abundant population of antelope with opportunities for turkey, waterfowl, and whitetails.
We have a portion of ground right on the Yellowstone River, which makes for some excellent fishing opportunities with potential for camping along the river as well.
The ranch is located just under two hours from Billings and about twenty minutes from Miles City.

Available Packages
This property offers great opportunities for whitetail deer and antelope, as well as some excellent waterfowl opportunites along the Yellowstone River. Miles City is just down the road; folks can find great food and entertainment after a day afield. Wildlife are seen throughout the many coulees and draws on the property, and the ag fields provide great food and cover for everything.

Our experience at the Ballensky ranch exceeded our expectations on all levels. Mike is an informative, helpful and friendly host. My wife and I both harvested our first antelope and even got in some grouse hunting. It was perfect.

My expectations where more than met. Mike was extremely gracious, and helpful. The Antelope were quite abundant and took a very nice buck. Had lunch along the creek that runs through the property while breaking down my Antelope . A beautiful day on a beautiful ranch.
