Blue Springs Plantation
Clio, Alabama, United States
870 Acres
Blue Springs Plantation is made up of 870 contiguous acres in Barbour County about 1.5 hours southeast of Montgomery. We are a fourth-generation timber operation with strong wildlife habitat, consisting of southern pine stands, hardwood pockets, creek bottoms, and brush.
Fifteen established food plots are positioned throughout the plantation, complemented by natural forage and a 20-acre pond. Multiple creeks wind through the timber.
Hunters can also make use of our 22 shooting houses set up around the property. Fishing in the 20-acre pond is complimentary with all hunts, so bring your rods!!
The property's internal road system is extensive and well-maintained, allowing hunters to easily access different parts of the property and access stands and plots with ease.
Lodging is available in our comfortable 3-bed/2-bath cabin that can sleep up to six guests. The cabin includes a full kitchen and hot showers. Hunting dogs are welcome, and guests can park directly at the cabin.
In the offseason, the plantation supports fishing in the 20-acre pond, ATV trail riding along the established road network, skeet shooting, and photography.
We look forward to sharing Blue Springs Plantation with you!

Bio
My family’s timber operation has stewarded Southern pine forests for nearly a century. Now in its fourth generation of ownership and management, we remain committed to disciplined, long-term land stewardship and responsible forest management. We primarily grow and manage pine across our properties, utilizing sustainable silviculture practices designed to enhance forest health, productivity, and long-term value. Our approach balances timber production with wildlife habitat, soil conservation, and ecosystem preservation. Each generation has focused on protecting and improving the resource base so it can continue to provide economic opportunity, environmental benefit, and family continuity for decades to come.
