Deer Farm
Welcome to the Deer Farm, home to prime hunting opportunities in Eastern Iowa!
We have 311 acres of rolling hills and varied terrain. With roughly 100 acres of timber, 130 acres of cropland, 50 acres of pasture, and about 20 acres crp, the farm's habitat consists of everything and more that deer and turkey need, giving both species ample reason to frequent the farm.
We are located in one of Iowa's very scenic regions about a mile from the Wapsipinicon River. With our close proximity to the river corridor, we routinely see whitetails and Eastern turkeys come through the farm to feed.
Turkey hunting should be a good option for hunters. That said, the strength of the farm lies in our deer population and hunting amenities. We have resident herds of whitetails with good bucks, in addition to seven tree stands, walking paths, and an enclosed-blind.
We request a minimum of three days for every booking, so that sportsmen can take full advantage of the hunting amenities we have here at the farm.
At this time we will not be offering structured lodging; however, guests are welcome to camp or RV on the property. We are only located about 30 minutes from Maquoketa and 45 minutes from the Cedar Rapids area, both of which have local hotel options.

This property is unbelievable. Dalton has it dialed as far as stands, blinds, and other hunting amenities go. While driving the property, I saw several deer including a very nice-sized whitetail buck!
