Downing Ranch is a family-owned cow/calf operation, consisting of 7,000 contiguous acres. The tripoint of Thomas, Blaine, and Logan Counties is located right in the heart of our property. This part of Nebraska is a location in high demand for hunting. The ranch is looking to be an excellent destination for turkey hunting this Spring as we see hundreds of turkeys daily. You don't need to go far to find them!

The ranch has signs of wildlife everywhere and really everything that game needs to thrive: Hardwoods, Shelterbelts, creeks, and riverbottom. Over three miles of Dismal River flows through the northern part of the ranch. Our ranch is also bordered to the north by over 90,000 acres of the Nebraska National Forest. 

As of right now, we don't provide lodging on the property; however, North Platte and Interstate-80 are just over an hour away. Camping and RV stays will be permitted on a case-by-case basis.
