Hilltop Ranch
Our ranch is about 685 acres cropland and canyons. Located in between the Frenchman Creek and the stinking water creek, our ag Fields are set up on almost a plateau or divide where our canyons to the north break down into the Stinking Creek and our canyons to the south break down towards the town of Hamlet and Frenchman Creek. The ranch is located just north east of Hamlet and US Highway 6.
The habitat is comprised of about 60-65% flat ag ground, while the rest of the property is canyonlands and draws that descend from our fields. Hunters can expect to either hunt the canyons from above on the edges of our ag fields or actually hike down into the canyons.
Our ag stubble makes for great pheasant habitat in addition to a small shelter belt and a few scattered trees. Whitetail and mule deer can both be found on the property; however, with the limited cover, the ranch is probably more suited for rifle hunters or bow hunters up for the challenge of a spot-and-stock-type hunt.
There is no structured lodging on the property, however, Imperial and McCook are located about 30-40 minutes away with local hotels options. For reference, we've also included a list of local Airbnbs within a reasonable distance from the ranch:

This is a beautiful property with plenty of locations to scout. During my visit, I bumped multiple pheasants, and expect this to be solid for bird hunters this Fall.
