Welcome to Coffey County, Kansas!

Our 150-acre property is about an hour southeast of the Kansas City area, made up of thick CRP, hay ground, and a cedar tree line, with two on-site ponds. We have exclusive hunting opportunities this Fall for whitetail and this upcoming Spring for turkey. We are located in Unit 11 for deer and Unit 6 for turkey.

Hunters are welcome to bring their own ground blind or climber stand.

The CRP grows dense and tall enough to serve as both bedding cover and a protected travel corridor for our deer population, connecting the bordering crop fields to the east and south (corn and beans) with the ponds and open hay ground on the other sides. Deer move through the CRP consistently as they transition between agricultural feed and cover throughout the day. 

We see turkeys frequently. I have never been able to tell if they roost in the cedar tree line and adjacent timber, but if anything, the birds use the trees for cover. 

We are only about 15 minutes from I-35. Emporia is about 30 minutes to the West. There's plenty of airbnbs and hotels within a 30-minute's drive of the property. Or, if you're in the KC area, just make the short commute!
