K & C Farms
K & C Farms is a family farming operation in Southeast Nebraska's Gage County about 7 miles north of the Nebraska-Kansas border and 50 miles south of Lincoln.
Our property is about 155 acres of row crop fields and prairie grass. We also have some areas of dense timber, especially along the Otoe Creek which runs through the farm.
We are pleased to be offering archery whitetail hunts and turkey hunts on the farm. Please inquire with any questions!
At this time, we are happy to accommodate multi-day bookings; however, guests will need to commute from Beatrice (18 miles) or Marysville, KS (19 miles). Camping and RV stays will be permitted on a case-by-case basis (dependent on season and weather). We are also within a mile of the Big Indian Recreation Area, which has camping and RV spots available.
We look forward to hosting you!

Kens property was worth the hunt. This property had lots of sign and beauty. We came with a goal and that goal was met. Great Opening weekend, could definitely see myself returning for another fun hunt. Also, Ken was a great host. Very responsive and helpful
Reviewed by Guest on September 2024KPKenneth PI very much enjoyed meeting with Nick and his dad. They are two guys who really seem to like hunting. They were very courteous and respectful. They showed interest in returning and they are very welcome.
Reviewed by Landowner on September 2024 A beautiful property with a variety of cover and habitat - an ideal environment to support healthy turkey populations. There were 4-6 gobblers sounding off in the morning and I was able to connect on a tom who was following 2 hens around. Ken was happy to talk about the history of property, the layout, and set expectations - which were far exceeded as I watched the sun rise! An incredible hunt, an awesome experience - my full recommendations for a Spring turkey hunt in Nebraska.
Reviewed by Guest on April 2024KPKenneth PDid not have the opportunity to have a face to face meet with Douglas due to schedule. However we spoke by phone and seemed to be a very knowledgeable hunter with considerable experience. He had a successful hunt and enjoyed the habitat provided by the land, according to the phone conversation had post hunt. No reason to not welcome Douglas back.

Ken is a great landowner. He’s very kind and will tell you where to get started. Very beautiful land!
Reviewed by Guest on May 2024 What a beautiful property! Ken and Carol greeted us upon arrival and gave us some great advice on where to get started. We saw birds as soon as we started hunting, and a total of 5 different toms just during the evening hunt. Unfortunately, we couldn’t coax them in to range, but no shortage of habitat and birds! Would highly recommend this spot!
Reviewed by Guest on April 2023KPKenneth PColton was appreciative and seemed to have enjoyed the hunt. That’s all I can hope for.

Kenneth was great to work with! Property was as advertised. Plenty of birds roosting on the property. I would certainly go back again

Reviewed by Guest on April 2023KPKenneth PIt appeared that Timber had a good experience during the turkey hunt. The phone conversation we had after the hunt revealed he was successful in bagging a gobbler and he sounded satisfied with the way the day turned out. He was respectful and quite knowledgable.

Booked a trip to K & C Farms to take my 15 yr old son turkey hunting. The land owners were VERY accommodating and, the land had a great variety of topography. There were a good number of turkeys and, we were in action most of the day! I recommend the public camping at Big Indian Rec Area for a very close, comfortable, and inexpensive place to stay. The turkeys have had some pressure but, I was able to call in a Jake (Hybrid) for my son which made for a great memory. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a chance at harvesting a Turkey especially, if you are also hunting Kansas during your trip! It isn’t far across the state line which allows you to add to your bag limit by hunting two states. Thank you Mr. Ken! We look forward to a return trip to K & C Farm. Regards, Chad Love
