King Farms
King Farms is a 5th-generation family farming operation made up of over 4,000 acres. Our family has been working the land since the early 1900s. We are located in the small village of Coulee just south of Kenmare. A good amount of the ground is made up of croplands, with several potholes and sloughs scattered throughout. A portion of our acreage is restricted for whitetail, totaling about 1,310 acres, since our family rifle hunts in the Fall. This restricted acreage is made up of wooded rolling coulees, ravines, and creeks. That said, this acreage is open for spring turkey, waterfowl, and upland bird, along with our remaining farmground and grasslands.
The acreage that is not restricted for whitetail will be open for archery hunts only. This will be a very challenging hunt, as the majority of this ground is open with not a lot of cover available.
Lodging can be found in nearby towns; however, we are also open to folks bring along an RV to set up for the night during your experience.

During my visit I saw a flock of turkeys and some grouse. I also saw waterfowl in nearly every slough, plus ample deer sign in the timber.
