The McFarland White Ranch is a 4th Generation, commercial cattle ranch that's been in operation since the early 1900s. The ranch stands on 30,000 acres of pristine country right in the shadow of the Crazy Mountains.
A picture of long-term sustainability and stewardship, the McFarland White Ranch has cultivated the land to provide the hay, barley, and grass needed to feed our cattle. The property itself consists of beautiful terrain, offering guests a nice mix of everything from open fields with river bottom to mountainous ridges and cloud-capped peaks. The ranch also boasts quite an intricate system of alpine roads, making for easy access to all parts of the property.
Guests are more than welcome to camp on the property. For guests seeking day-trips only or lodging elsewhere, we're only a 30-minute drive to Harlowtown and an hour drive from Big Timber and I-90.
No hunting on the property or using the property for hunting access to the Crazy Mountains is allowed

My name is Lanie White and I am the fourth generation on the McFarland White Ranch. I grew up on the north east slope and creek bottoms of the Crazy Mountains. My family and I run a commercial cattle operation, an extensive farming operation as well as some other tertiary projects.
