Niss RimRock Ranch
Calling all bird hunters!
The Niss RimRock Ranch is home to our 780-acre Pheasant and Chukar preserve. Located just to the northwest of Crawford, we are one of the only controlled shooting areas for upland birds in Sioux County. We raise both Pheasant and Chukar and run fully-guided hunts from September 1st through March 3rd every year.
The ranch shares a border with Fort Robinson State Park, which is home to breathtaking pine ridge and bluff scenery. Our beautiful views only add to the experience as hunters enjoy working our birds. We have a trusty bird dog here at the ranch that will be available during your hunt; however, you are more than welcome to bring your own bird dog.
All hunts are half-day and fully guided hunts, so please specify when you book with us whether you'd prefer to hunt in the morning or afternoon.
Our packages are set up to give you and your group the option of either a chukar hunt, pheasant hunt, or premium bag hunt, which includes both pheasant and chukar.
If you would like to lodge on the property during your hunt, here is information and availability on our cabin: Niss RimRock Ranch - New Cabin
Prior to booking, feel free to inquire about the release of extra birds during your hunt.
We also have the ability to make hunts as easy or as hard as people want, so reach out and let us know what level of difficulty would be best (or most fun) for you and your group.
