The property covers 167 acres of cropland, grassland, timbered bluffs, rolling hills, draws and coulees, and creek bottom. The Ferndale Creek runs through the center of the valley, splitting the crop and cattle farm and serving as the main travel corridor for wildlife moving through the property. The acreage is across the road from the state-owned Ferndale Ridge Wildlife Management Area. This parcel is in Houston County, less than 15 minutes from Rushford.

Lodging:

There is a house that has a private, separate, lower-level entrance to a fully functional, fully furnished 1200 sq. ft. basement apartment that has 2 bedrooms, 4 beds, one bathroom, kitchen, living room w/ fireplace, and fiber-fed Wi-Fi that provides TV and internet service. Hunters or other guests ready to enjoy other adventures (Root River bike trail, hiking, golfing, etc.) can reserve this apartment.
