River Valley Ranch is located 8 miles south of Devils Tower Wyoming which was designated as the nation’s first national monument by President Theodore Roosevelt in 1906. From several locations on the ranch, you will see breathtaking views many of which include the unique feature of Devils Tower as it rises 1,267 feet above the Belle Fourche.

Sitting on over 2 miles of the Belle Fourche River, our River Valley Ranch property just outside of Sundance, Wyoming, offers 2,760 acres of scenic terrain that is PERFECT for outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore Crook County.

About the Ranch:
The ranch was purchased by our Grandparents in 1952 (Ralph and Evelyn Mills). The present location of the ranch headquarters was formerly a stage stop location in the early and formative years of Wyoming in the late 1800’s. Currently the ranch is owned by various family members of Reynard and Alice (Garman) Mills. The heritage of the Mills Family dates back to the early 1900’s as both the Mills Family and the Garman Family homesteaded in Campbell and Crook Counties, respectively.
