This package allows access to harvest pheasants and other upland birds on the property. We'll be able to give you advice on where to go on the property and how to hunt each area.
We have a huge amount of birds this year, much higher than we have had previously.
Spring Valley Ranch is located on the Fort Peck Reservations and hunters are NOT required to purchase a Montana license but rather licenses online or over the counter through the Fort Peck Tribes Fish & Game. Licenses for upland birds and pheasant are available yearly for out-of-state and Montana residents.

Agriculture and Natural Forage
Abundant amount of food sources for the wildlife including alfalfa fields, wheat, lentil, and canola seeded crops. We also have a total of five different expired CRP fields that we left to grass to add extra cover and food for wildlife.
Ponds, Livestock Tanks, Springs, and Creeks
There are two different creeks that flow through the property, including one that runs year round on a normal year. A total of 4 dams/ponds, along with 3 solar-powered livestock tanks. Spring Valley community didn't get its name for nothing, many of the field waterways hold sloughs for wildlife to also get an afternoon drink.
Hills, Draws, Grasslands, and Shelter Belt
The properties include six homestead that are lined with thick shelter belts to provide cover for the wildlife. The pasture and range lands also over many draws for the birds and deer to get out of the Montana winds.
