Thistle Ridge is an 80-acre farm located in Southern New York's Sullivan County. The farm is situated just outside of the town of Callicoon about 10 minutes from the Pennsylvania-New York border, the Delaware River.

The acreage has been used as farmland for many generations. It is currently used for hay, corn, and grazing land for cattle. The habitat is a mixture of brushy pasture land, hay fields, hardwoods, and hemlocks. 

We are located in New York's WMU 3H, and overall are open to really any in-season species. We have a whitetail, spring turkey, and bear package available; however, if you'd like to try hunting a different species, please don't hesitate to reach out and we can see about getting you out here.

The property is well-suited for whitetail activity. Our region has antler restrictions for the deer, so bucks must have at least 3 points on 1 side to be legal. Because of this, 6-8 point bucks are frequently seen. The farm's vicinity has healthy populations of deer in addition to Eastern turkeys. Hunters should have a good chance of seeing birds moving between the open fields and the timbered areas. While I don’t see black bear often, they do pass through from time to time.
