Guests will have exclusive use of a fire pit grill, a picnic table, several scenic social areas, and optional chairs for small to large gatherings, and a ramp going down into a dense woodland at the canyon bottom.
Guests will also are free to explore the scenic 1.5 mile long Behind The Barns Trail that follows the canyon rim.

While visiting Maple Creek Canyon I saw signs of deer everywhere. Scrapes, rubs, beaten paths, were scattered all over the property. The Maple Creek running through the middle of the property offers a great source of water during the drought we are experiencing.
